A majestic window highlights the front elevation of this handsome home, accented by brick trim and a covered stoop supported by columns. A finished basement with guest rooms is perfect for a walk-out lot.
Open to the entry, the formal dining room sports a 13-foot ceiling. Together with the great room with its 10-foot ceiling, they combine to make excellent entertaining space. The informal area is enhanced by the integrated design of the gathering room, the bayed breakfast room and the kitchen, all with special ceiling treatments.
In the master suite, double doors open to a sumptuous bath with a corner whirlpool tub, separate shower, two sinks set in an angled counter and oversized walk-in closet with a built-in cedar chest.
Plans include a basement of 1,338 sq. ft., finished or unfinished. With its own entrance and a kitchen and bath, the lower level is designed for guests or family. The huge family room includes a bayed game area, a fireplace and an entertainment center; a snack bar divides this room from the wet bar. This floor optionally may be left unfinished.
