Derived from basic elements popularized with the Arts and Crafts movement, this design is showered with good looks and great planning. A covered front porch, with wide-base columns, is offset by a three-car garage and leads to the front entry and central hall. A den opens from double doors on the left; the formal dining room is on the right.
The kitchen, with island cooktop, separates the formal dining room from a nook with bay window and access to a rear covered porch. The great room rises two stories and contains a warm hearth. A service hall leading to the garage offers a half-bath and a laundry area. The master suite is conveniently placed on the main level. Its salon has a high tray ceiling; its bath is compartmented and has a walk-in closet.
Two additional bedrooms (one with a walk-in closet) on the upper level share a compartmented bath. Bonus space on this level allows for the addition of another bedroom, if needed.
