September was full of inspiration at AD. We welcomed two new designer portfolios, highlighted a beautiful client build, launched our Instagram Broadcast Channel, and featured seasonal renderings that capture the warmth of fall. Here’s a look back at the month’s highlights.

We highlighted three designs this September that really shine against a fall backdrop. Each one has details that make it easy to picture yourself at home, whether you’re enjoying a front porch view, an open kitchen connection, or a loft perfect for the kids.

This 1,877 sq. ft. farmhouse is designed for connection. The kitchen looks into the dining and great room and extends its view out to the rear covered porch, so everyday life flows inside and out. Just off the entry, a pocket office adds a flexible space for work, play, or reading. A narrow footprint with a front-load garage also makes it a smart choice for tighter lots.

Here, the front porch is the star. Crossed-gable timber detail creates a striking first impression, while the vaulted ceiling carries from porch to great room, dining, and kitchen for a sense of openness throughout. The master suite offers dual walk-in closets, a large bath, and direct laundry access. Add in the butler’s pantry and private suites for the secondary bedrooms, and this plan balances style with everyday comfort.

This Craftsman cottage charms from every angle with its wraparound porch and views that stretch from room to room. Out back, the covered porch connects to a two-car garage, keeping the layout practical. Inside, the main-level master suite offers convenience, while two upstairs bedrooms and a loft give kids or teens their own retreat.
