Plan Details

  • Decorative brackets and cedar shakes accent the gables of this Country Craftsman home plan for a distinctly rustic appearance. A front porch - 7'6" by 8'8" - provides shelter at the front door.
  • A coat closet and powder room await just inside the foyer entry. The 16' vaulted great room enjoys a fireplace flanked by built-in bookcases and additional display shelves.
  • An angled kitchen island overlooks the dining room, and the screened porch with skylights and open deck take entertaining outdoors when the weather is nice.
  • The master suite features a vaulted ceiling and private access to the porch. Pass through the efficient master bathroom to enter a spacious walk-in closet. Two additional bedrooms share a bathroom and plenty of storage.

  • Roof Plan - The roof plan shows a bird's eye view of the overall layout of the roof, ridges, valleys, and slopes.
  • Exterior Elevations - Included are front, rear, left and right sides of the house. Exterior materials, details and measurements are also given.
  • Cross-Section / Wall Section Details -  Important changes in floor, ceiling and roof heights or the relationship of one level to another are called out. Also shown, when applicable, are exterior details such as railing and banding.
  • Structural Plan - Overall layout and necessary details for the ceiling, second-floor framing (if applicable) and roof construction. If trusses are used, it's suggested that you use a local truss manufacturer to design your trusses to comply with your local codes and regulations.
