Plan designs offered on our site and through other channels may comply with the International Residential Code (IRC), though Canadian plans may differ. Due to the wide range of requirements throughout states and municipalities, it is possible that any given plan may not have all of the information required by local building authorities. If this is the case, a design professional or licensed engineer can assist in reviewing, updating, or stamping plans to comply with local code. It is the requirement of the customer to ensure final plan designs comply with local and state laws.

The original designer retains title and ownership of all plans. The original designer, as the Licensor, grants you, as Licensee, the right to use these plans to construct one or more structures in accordance with the purchased license option. All of our plans are protected under the Federal Copyright Act, Title XVII of the U.S. code and Chapter 37 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Plans may not be used by or resold to another individual. These plans cannot be copied or reproduced by any means unless specifically authorized.

When you use services provided by Architectural Designs, or use electronic communications from your desktop or mobile device, you consent to receive electronic communications (including marketing communications, unless you have opted-out where applicable) from us. These may include e-mails, texts, mobile push notices, or notices and messages on this site or through other services. You agree that all notices, disclosures, agreements, and other communications that we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communication be in writing.
