Study Set - Printed
A set of copyrighted house plans intended for review purposes that are mailed to you. Stamped "NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION", this set does not come with a building license and due to copyright law, cannot be copied.
To build from the plans, you need to upgrade to 5-Sets, PDF or CAD (if available) and we’ll credit your full purchase of the Study Set toward the upgrade.

5 Sets
Five printed sets of copyrighted plans, including a single-build license, shipped to you.
6 Sets
Six printed sets of copyrighted plans, including a single-build license, shipped to you.

Eight printed sets of copyrighted plans, including a single-build license, shipped to you.
Reproducible Set
One master set of printed plans with a license to build and copyright release giving you legal permission to make changes to the plan and make copies to build the house shipped to you. Comes with a Single-Build License giving you permission to build the home one time.
PDF - Single-Build
A plan set in PDF format with a license to build one home and a release giving you permission to make changes and allowing you to print sets as needed. Delivered digitally, typically within 1 to 2 days. Comes with a Single-Build License giving you permission to build the home one time.
CAD - Single-Build
Used by design professionals, structural engineers and builders, the CAD (computer-aided design) file is used to make significant modifications to a plan (requires CAD software and an experienced draftsperson). This version includes a copyright release giving you legal permission to make changes and printing unlimited sets. It is delivered by email and comes with a license to build one home. Not all designers use the same CAD program. Please contact us to learn more about the software used for a specific plan.

A set of working drawings delivered in a PDF digital format that come with a license to build an unlimited number of homes with no re-use fees. A copyright release is included for making modifications and printing sets.
CAD - Unlimited Build
Used by design professionals, structural engineers and builders, the CAD (computer-aided design) is used to make significant modifications to a plan. It is delivered by email and comes with a license to build unlimited number of homes with no re-use fees. Not all designers use the same CAD program. PDF Light
A set of working drawings delivered in a PDF digital format with permission to print unlimited sets to build the home ONE time. This version does NOT come with a copyright release giving you permission to make plan changes. If you need to make changes, then purchase the PDF Unlimited Build.
PDF Plus
A set of working drawings delivered in a PDF digital format. This version includes a copyright release giving you legal permission to make changes and permission to print unlimited sets. It also gives you an Unlimited Use license making this great for builders.
8 Sets + PDF
8 printed sets mailed to you plus a PDF that is emailed. Comes with a copyright release giving permission to make changes along with a license to build one home.
CAD Unlimited + PDF
