Board and batten siding and a shed roof over the porch grace the front of this modern cottage house plan. A shed roof provides covers the front porch of this 1.5 story floor plan offers.
Inside, the kitchen with eating nook is open to the living room and is visually separated by an island with a flush eating bar. A cozy woodstove can be enjoyed throughout the great room.
Towards the front of the home are two bedrooms. One could easily serve as the master bedroom as it features a private bathroom with free-standing soaking tub and separate shower.
Upstairs is a vaulted loft which offers flexibility to homeowners. If an extra bedroom is needed there is a second floor bathroom and walk-in closet. This space could also be set up as a study, den, home office, or hobby room - whatever suites.

Roof Framing Plan: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc. Specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. Details are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale, and appear as needed throughout the prints.
Building Section: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation.
Electrical Plan: A schematic layout of all lighting, switches, and electrical outlets.
