Plan Details

  • Vertical siding mimics the ribbed metal roof that caps this one-level Barndominium home plan.
  • A 40'-wide by 10'-deep porch extends from the front of the home to properly welcome guests and leads you into an open-concept living area that combines the kitchen, living, and dining rooms.
  • The drive-thru garage (19' by 38'4") provides loads of space for lawn supplies, a workshop, or storage.
  • The walk-in pantry and ample closet space helps with storage, while the laundry room doubles as a mud room with its location near the garage.
  • The bedrooms line the rear of the design with the largest room reserved for the homeowner and accompanied by a 4-fixture bathroom and walk-in closet.
  • This Metal House Plan was designed with a Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) in mind.  A PEMB is the most commonly used structure when building a barndominium.  A PEMB can be engineered, fabricated and shipped to any location in the world and generally can be installed in a much shorter time than a traditionally framed home. Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings get a project in the dry very quickly and allow for interior build-outs to be convenient, not having to support roof loads.
