Plan Details

  • An 8'-deep porch graces the front of this 2,967 square foot house plan designed with a Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) in mind (read on for more).
  • The front of the home is open concept. In front, the great room with fireplace fills the entire width of the home while the dining room and kitchen are located further into the home.
  • Two ensuite bedrooms are located in back with laundry off the friend's entry coming in from the 2-car garage.
  • Upstairs, a flex room can be used as a bed or bunk room. The rest of the upstairs is dedicated to attic space.
  • This Metal House Plan was designed with a Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) in mind. A PEMB is the most commonly used structure when building a barndominium. A PEMB can be engineered, fabricated and shipped to any location in the world and generally can be installed in a much shorter time than a traditionally framed home. Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings get a project in the dry very quickly and allow for interior build-outs to be convenient, not having to support roof loads. 
  • This metal house plan is available with 2x6 exterior framing by selecting it from the Options menu.
