It can be conventionally permitted and ‘stick-built', or “Boxes System” built, where framing of structural ‘Boxes’ is an efficient off-site operation. Individual ‘Boxes’ are designed to be transported by low cost ‘Hot Shot’ haulers with 24-28 ft. deck-over trailers; within the DOT height and width limits, so no special permits are required! Boxes are to be constructed with Huber ‘ZIP System’ (or other waterproof) sheathing and roof decking, and have the windows and exterior doors pre-installed. With the use of a small crane, and a crew of 3, the ‘Boxes’ can be set and anchored to a site-built foundation, then ‘stitched’ together, and have all joints sealed and taped in less than a day. The now dried-in structure can be locked up, and is ready for local contractors to begin work on metal roofing & siding, and rough-in plumbing the next day! Under the local building permit, the inspections process can proceed normally as the build progresses.
