  • This home was designed for young urban dwellers desiring a single family home with the modernity of downtown living and has a courtyard entry. Awning roofs and large roof overhangs shade walls and windows. 
  • Clerestory windows, high horizontal windows on side walls, large rear windows and a wall that stops short of the ceiling (to share light from the front of the house) bring natural daylighting into the rooms reducing the need for electric lighting. 
  • Three of the four bedrooms are located upstairs, including the master suite. The fourth bedroom can be used as an office, as can the flex/dining room.
  • The kitchen opens to the living room which has access to the covered deck through sliding doors.
